Bolibar is an ironmonger with more than 100 years of experience in all types of of fixtures and fittings, and technical ironwork for furniture, for the restoration and decoration for houses and public buildings.
Our daily effort is centred in offering professional advice, in being able to complete special orders and to offer a fast friendly and comprehensive service to our clients.

Wide experience
Bolibar Bronces was founded in Barcelona in 1910 by Santiago Bolíbar. It began as a traditional ironmonger’s specialising in supply to professionals in the joinery and carpentry trades. It also manufactured brass fixtures for stylish furniture and marquetry applications.
After the Spanish Civil War, Bolibar was among the first ironmongers to opt for specialisation, focussing their service on quality metal fixtures for furniture and home decoration.
Nowadays, Bolibar is still a family business with a firm commitment to growth and service to both its private and its professional clients.
Metalwork Atelier
In our atelier we make special works of ironmongery in brass, stainless steel or iron and we can adapt to any requirement that can our clients have.
Bolibar pieces are the result of dedication and extraordinary artisanal skills. Our manufacturing method mixes the technique of sand casting, lost wax casting and shell-mold casting since 1910. We work with premium quality brass. This allows us to offer an excellent product with perfect finishes and numerous electrolytic finishes: bronze, silver, nickel, satin brass, 24kt gold, etc.
The most characteristic feature of Bolibar Atelier is the possibility to realize custom products shaped according to each customer’s needs. We do special and custom work for architectural projects: handles manufacturing, brass pieces, anything you need.
Gaudí Collection
The Bolibar Artisan catalog presents a collection of classic ironwork, with particular emphasis on Catalan modernism, including the ironwork collection designed by the world-renowned architect Antoni Gaudí for several of his major architectural projects in the early 20th Century.
Reproduction of eight fittings designed by the architect A. Gaudí for Batlló, Milà and Calvet houses, made in Barcelona, using the handcraft brass casting process and the highest technology for the finishings.
